Nature's Gate Wholistic Beauty Products

This company was super generous with the samples that they sent and all are organic and vegan products. I was sent eye creams, cleansing gels, cleansing milks, shampoo & conditioners, lotions, body wash, liquid soaps and even toothpaste. 

Cleansing Milk & Moisturizer:
This had a really great smell and had a nice amount of product inside the packet. Once I used it, it left my skin feeling clean and smooth. I have oily skin, so it did not feel greasy or left a residue. The moisturizer was really nice smelling as well. It left my skin feeling soft and silky. The next morning, I looked very refreshed and no dark circles, which was great!

Cleansing Gel & Oil Free Moisturizer:
This was similar to the cleansing milk, except it was more solid in look in feel being a gel. It reminded me of more of an astringent, but smelled nice. The moisturizer was nice, but dried very quickly and did not leave my skin feeling as soft as the first. it also smelled very nice and left my skin looking hydrated. Again, these packets have multiple uses and I received two of each kind pictured. 

Night Cream & Eye Cream:
This was really nice. I used the night cream liberally and it absorbed very quickly and didn't leave my skin feeling tight or stretchy. I used the eye cream in the mornings after washing my face and it left my skin very soft throughout the day. Very nice skin care products, and a plus is they are all natural. Sometimes when I think about all natural products, I imagine that they would smell like grass or really earthy, but to my surprise they had very attractive scents. 

Lotions:
I was sent two different kinds of lotion: Papaya and Non-scented. I absolutely love the Papaya. I have used it every day for over a week and the packet is only about half way. Very nice packet size for a sample and I am really impressed. It leaves my hands so soft and for a long while too throughout the day. I use it in the morning and at night. The scent lasts all day which is really great. I love something that smells good, so this I am giving an A+. The non-scented gives me the same soft skin, just without the smell. Sometimes if I want more than just the dime size portion, I mix the two and the papaya scent carries through. Amazing!

Toothpaste:
The toothpaste is very peppermint-y. It comes out grey and thin on your tooth brush, but it suds up and does the job of normal toothpaste. I like that it is all natural as well. You can tell that it might have some baking soda in it, because it has a slight bitter aftertaste, but that doesn't bother me. 

Self Tanner:
I am not really into the self tanning, but I like that this company offers the option. I have not used this product, so I can not properly review it.

Volumizing and Daily Cleanse Shampoo & Conditioner:
This was great. It smelled earthy and musky at the same time. It suds-ed up very nice and left my hair feeling very clean. The conditioner was very thick and took a little more effort to get out, but maybe it was just how soft it left my hair. After drying, my hair was very full and bouncy. I really like this product. The look scared my at first because it had a brown tint to the product, but nonetheless, I was very pleased.

Hemp Body Wash:
This was okay. The smell was different, but not something I would pick to use all the time. It was floral-y and something else; just different. It lathered up really well and left me feeling clean, which I look for any anything body cleansing product. 

Conclusion:
Overall, this is a really nice product brand. The company was very generous with their samples and I am very pleased with that. Each sample, except for the shampoos, had multi uses out of each and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for all natural products that really work! First Botany: Intensive Wrinkle-Free Anti-Aging Eye Cream

Another First Botany product, but not that much of a let down. My mother had used this for about 3 weeks and it worked for her, she did not really like the results. When using the cream, she felt like it wasn't working as well as she had hoped, but after a few weeks you could see little results around her eyes. She used it on her whole face, but only around the eyes is where she saw results. 

If you are looking for a quick acting product, I would say this is not the product to use. It does take a while for the product to work, but it does work. If you don't have a lot of wrinkles and want to add this to your regimen you could possible see long term consistent results. 

The product comes in a small pump bottle. The cream is creamy and light. Easy to apply and scentless.

Degree: Motion Sense Dry Spray Deodorant

This was a free sample from Target. I have never used a dry spray deodorant before, I normally stick to clear solid but decided to try something new. 

Surprisingly, I really love this product. It smells amazing, easy to apply and lasts all day long. It is hard to find a deodorant that lasts all day, and this is one that does! 

The bottle is slim and nice sized. Easy to hold on to and easy to press top to spray the product. It is really cold because it is a spray, but goes away quickly. 

Overall, I really enjoyed trying this product and I think that I will be switching to this brand and type of product. The offer several different scents, but I really like the smell of the Fresh Energy the best. This product is sold at all stores such as Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreen's, etc. You can go to their website and ask to receive coupons for money off the product, which runs about $3.50. 

Align Probiotic

Okay, well as you can see from the box, this is a sample. I got this from the freebie page on Facebook, Freebie & Samples by CoCo. If you have not check out and joined this page, you really should. There are tons of links posted daily for you to sign up for free samples in the mail. Okay, so back to this product. 

I got this in the mail a little over a week ago. I got two boxes, so two weeks worth and I have already seen a difference in my digestion. You take it in the morning with your breakfast and throughout the day it helps your body absorb what you are eating and effectively move it through your digestive system. I have suffered from irregular bathroom habits for a while and have been looking for something to help regulate me and leave me feeling good and not as bloated. 

Align has really helped me in that sense, although I am horrible at remembering to take pills. I have missed a few days, because my life is just busy and I get distracted in the mornings, but for the days I have taken it, I can see a difference. I only missed 2 days, so results have happened. 

When your body is working correctly, you feel more energized and ready for the day. You don't feel weighed down or backed up. I believe this is a good product to help jump start regularity, especially if you suffer from a lot of travelers constipation or just your normal constipation because you ate too many starchy products this week. Smiley Face: Stainless Steel Clippers

These are as cute as they are effective! When I saw these, I just loved the smiley face on them. To be honest, that is probably the whole reason I chose to review them. To my surprise they are unlike any other pair of nail clippers I have ever had. They are made of stainless steel and are really heavy duty. They have a nice weight to them as well and are very easy to use. 

Like normal clippers, you spin the top around to begin to use them, but unlike other clippers, they are very easy to hold on to. They have texture, unlike some others where they are very smooth and can get slippery to hold on to if your hands are wet or have lotion on them. 

Like normal clippers, you just press down on the top and they clip the nails, but with these, they are so sharp that it takes little effort to clip thick and tough nails. Don't you just hate when you are trying to clip your nails and they seem way too thick to cut, or the clippers have trouble going through the whole nail. Well not with these bad boys. My husband has horribly thick and sturdy toe nails, and these clippers took them on with ease. It was amazing! I had also slippery hands, but didn't have any trouble holding on to these clippers trying to wrangle those claws in! 

Along with have some weight to them, easy to hold on to and clip through nails like butter, they are a nice size and fit in your hand well. Some clippers are really small and hard to maneuver all around your nails. Some are too big and bulky, which causes their own problems. These are just perfect and I am so glad that I decided to get these! I am a smiley face clipper fan now, and don' think I will ever get another pair of your run of the mill Wal-mart clippers again! Radha Beauty: Vitamin C Serum

This is another anti-aging regimen that I was chosen to review through my favorite site, Amazon Review Trader. I have to say, it leaves my face and neck really soft, but as far as anti-aging qualities, not so much. My mother has even used it and she hadn't seen a difference. She used this before the amazing Retinol cream. It is made with all natural and organic materials.

 It comes in a nice glass bottle with dropper applicator. The smell isn't that nice though. As you all know, I am all about the smells, and this smells very earthy and like grass. I think that it should have included some kind of floral scent since it is geared toward women mostly. We women love all things that smell good, especially on our faces. Once I ordered this product, it came quickly in the mail and was packed nicely.

 It isn't that impressive as of yet. I have used it for about 2 weeks and the only noticeable difference is how soft my skin is. If anything I will continue to use this product just for that quality. Asana Beauty: Retinol IP6 Night Cream Moisturizer

This product came from another site I just recently started reviewing for and my mother is pretty pleased with it thus far. I like to keep an eye out for products I think she would like to use. This is an anti-aging product that is used at night and/or under your make-up during the day. It is really nice size product and well worth the money spent for it. 

It is a 4 oz jar and came nicely packaged. The cream is white and really rich. It goes on easily and soaks in evenly. My mother uses it twice a day and I have really seen a difference in her face and neck. Before, she had lots of sagging skin around and under her eyes and down her neck. Since using this product for about 2 weeks, you can already see that her face looks more plump and smooth. Her neck has tightened some and looks more plump and less saggy. She is very pleased with this product and how long it actually is lasting. She has barely made a dent in this jar, and like I stated before, she has been using it for a couple weeks now night and day! Well worth the cost for a long lasting product that actually works! 

She hasn't really given any complaints about the product, which led me to agree with her opinion about how well it is working, along with the physical evidence. Here is a side by side to show how well it is working within just 2 weeks.

First Botany: Arabica Coffee Scrub

I really like products that help exfoliate the skin, knock all the dead stuff off and leave your body looking bright, smooth, and youthful. This product does a few of those things, but this is not my favorite. Although I like the smell of coffee, I don't think I really like ACTUALLY scrubbing my body with coffee grounds. Let's not start off with the bad, so I will talk about what I really liked about it. 

1. I like the fact that everything in the product is completely natural. There are no artificial scents. No chemicals that help with exfoliation and there are lots of different oils. Basically, this product is sand, salts, oils and coffee. 
2. Note to self and all of you, if you use this product, wash your body first. Once you scrub with this, the oils basically deem your soap useless and you become waterproof. Water rolls off like a ducks back and you just have to wait until the next day to actually bathe. So, wash first. 
3. Next, don't scrub hard, AT ALL. Since this is full of sand and salts and all things that are made to take your skin off, there is very little effort needed to get the job done. 
4. Lastly, the ending result is really nice and soft skin. When you get out of the shower, you are soft from all the oils and have a clean exfoliated sensation. So that's nice. 

Okay, okay, so here is what I didn't like about it. Granted the list is shorter than what I did like, I'm just not that into this product. 

1. As I stated before, I don't like feeling like I'm scrubbing with coffee grounds. Yes, coffee has the caffeine that tightens your skin, but can we get something that doesn't smell like you just popped a can of Folgers open? It is a very strong and at times over powering coffee smell, which unless you are an all-things coffee fanatic, I don't prefer to smell like I just rolled around coffee when I leave the house. 
2. Next, it seems really harsh on the skin. That is why I said, DO NOT SCRUB HARD. I felt sunburned when I got out of the shower because I made that mistake.
3. Lastly, I like the oils in it, they make my skin feel really nice, but when you are putting it on, you feel like you are greasing up for a oil wresting match. Also, I don't have the patients to let it dry for 5 minutes in the shower.

Overall, it just wasn't a hit for me, but then again, it may be a hit for you! If you are looking for a product that makes you feel nice and smooth from all the natural oils and exfoliating properties that this product contains, you may just love it too! Equinox Blemish Remover Kit

I don't really suffer from acne or blemishes much, but when I do I tend to really scar my face with popping those unruly pimples. We all know that one person that will hold you down and get any bump you have every chance they get and this kit is fabulous to keep you from scaring your skin! It comes with 5 different tools in several different sizes and shapes to help squeeze out those unsightly black heads and white heads that we all tend to get at one time or another.

One tool in this kit is razor sharp, SO WATCH OUT! It is probably used for lancing large cysts or boils. The tools are really well made, sturdy and easy to hold on to.

Biossance: The Revitalizer

I got this as a free sample from the Facebook page, Freebie & Samples by CoCo. If you are not a part of this group by now, you are really missing out. It took about 3 weeks for it to come in, but I am glad that it finally did. I initially got this product for my mother, who with age, has gotten wrinkles and bags around her eyes and sagging in her neck area. She has used this for about a week now and I can see really great results for her, so I decided to start using it just to soften and plump the area around my eyes as well. Even though this is a really small bottle size, you only need a few drops in the morning and at night. I think this bottle is going to go a long way for at least a month or more with both her and I using it. It doesn't have a smell and it is non greasy. Really pleased so far with the results of this product.

O'Keeffe's Company

This is a company that I e-mailed because I saw a commercial about their Working Hands Cream. To my delightful surprise, they agreed to send me out a sample of their products to try, along with some other products. They were so pleasant and generous that they sent me both full size products of Working Hands and Healthy Feet Creams, along with a sample size as well! I was so excited to try them, I opened them immediately to see what it looked and smelled like. 

They are chalky and hard at first until it warms to your temperature, then it becomes silky smooth. It makes your hands feel wet like you just dipped them in water or oil. Very cool sensation! With my dry hands, they soaked it up instantly, but with my second apply it left my hands so soft and smooth. I rubbed it all into my cuticles and nails and could see a difference instantly, nothing like anything else I have ever used; not even the best lotions. 

For the Healthy Feet Cream, I was so impressed with the hand cream, I asked my husband to give me a foot massage with it and wow! I have such horrible feet because I go so long in between pedicures that my heels are always so dry and scratchy. This cream made them silky as if I had just had a pedicure that day. None of these products have a smell and don't leave you feeling greasy. I can turn a door knob after using this product! 
Kudos, O'Keeffe Company! You have earned yourself a lifetime customer with these products!

Pure Body Naturals Argan Oil Hair Mask

Pure Body Naturals has got it going on! I received this off of AMZRT for free and I am absolutely in LOVE with this product.

I naturally have very thick, very curly, and very frizzy hair. I wear my hair up in a ponytail most of the time because for the most part I can not tame this mane. When I got this in, I immediately wanted to try it, so that day I did.
It is thick and creamy like a really nice conditioner. It doesn't have a smell, which was good because my last conditioner I tried was just awful smelling. You leave it on your hair 5-15 minutes (I have to admit, I left mine on for about 20 minutes) then rinse off.

When I tell you I haven't felt my hair so soft, I am being completely honest. I love that even that it is an "oil" product, it left my hair feeling clean and light.. Oh and so so soft! So now, instead of hiding my hair up in a bun, I can wear it down and straight without it looking damaged and frizzy! Thank you, Pure Body Naturals! You have saved my hair. Kai Fragrance Brand

This company was so nice and sent me a lovely gardenia scent perfume. I loved that they also sent along a pamphlet with other products that they offer such as candles, hand and body lotions, and scent diffuser sets. I immediately put on the perfume when I got it because I was so excited to see what kind I had gotten. So glad it was Gardenia. It isn't a harsh Gardenia smell, but very light and subtle. Very spring time type of scent. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family just because they are all so nice. I did get this as a free sample as well. Go try some! Click Here

Exuviance

This is a free sample product I received in the mail. I chose to reach out to this company because my mother has been looking for a facial cream to help with her aging and dry skin. She was my tester for this product and she was quite happy with it.

Gentle Cleansing Creme

She used this first, It has a wonderful smell, something between mango and roses. It is rich and creamy and covered easily. She used as directed, which is to is to apply to a wet face and massage into the skin in a circular and upward motion. She then wiped it off with warm water and patted dry. She said after using this, her face felt hydrated and very soft. 

Collagen Triple Boost Serum
This is the next step. It is a night cream which also had a very nice scent and went on smoothly. She put this all around her eyes, chin, and neck. She said it had a slight tightening feeling, but not that bad. Looking at her the next morning I could tell a slight difference in the fine lines around her eyes. Her bags were not as pronounced either. This left her skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth. This was her favorite of all the sample kit.

Conclusion
She said she would definitely go out and buy this product. She likes how it makes her skin feel and look. She liked the smell too compared to other products she had used. Overall, very nice product!

Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set

Okay, so I have had this product for about a year and just absolutely LOVE it. What it does is this:

• removes the first layer of skin
• deep cleans with micro crystals
• shrinks pore size
  
• replenishes to leave a silky smooth finish

So, with all of those great facts out of the way, let me just say that this product is worth the price. For the set, you are going to spend around $50. Like I said, I have had this product for right at a year and use it twice a week and it is still at least half full. Wonderful product. 

Time-wise Microdermabrasion: Refine
It is very gritty and recommend doing this treatment in the shower. Beware of getting it in your eyes or mouth, because it will sting. It smells kind of chemically, no fruity smells. Will make your face fill clean but sensitive due to taking that first layer of skin off. 

Time-wise Microdermabrasion: 
Replenish
This is the second step and done last. It is silky smooth, thin but soothing. Your skin will soak this up immediately and it relieves some of the sensitivity on your face. Again, this really doesn't have a smell and I use it at least twice on the say that I use this kit, just to keep my skin hydrated. 

Conclusion:
I love this set! Once I run out, I will definitely be buying more. My skin looks and feels so healthy since I started using this product line. I also use other Mary Kay make-up products that I absolutely adore! Find a Mary Kay rep in your area and indulge. Your skin will love you for it!

NATU Product Review

NATU Shampoo & Conditioner

Hey everyone, back again. Today I received this free sample in the mail. I was super excited to get it and try it. It came in a pretty decent size sample, although with having really thick hair, it wasn't quite enough to cover my head.This is what I thought about it. 

Shampoo
Liberating Shampoo

The shampoo was clear and really thin. I did not care for the smell. It is has a very STRONG rosemary and mint (or something like it) smell. I am not a huge fan of that scent, so it could have smelled better. Like I said before, although these are really nice size samples, there was not enough to cover all my hair, so I mixed it with a small amount of my normal shampoo. It didn't have a really thick lather, so I felt like my hair wasn't getting clean. I had really high hopes for this company, but in that aspect it let me down. I kept the shampoo on for 1 minute as directed then rinsed. My hair felt really stringy and I was ready to have the conditioner on. 

Conditioner
Reawakening Conditioner

The conditioner smelled the exact same, so I was not pleased with that. The conditioner is thick and rich and covered well, unlike the shampoo. I left this on for 2 minutes as directed. I was really pleased that it left my hair very soft and light. I could run my fingers through my hair easily after towel drying.

Conclusion

Overall, it is 50-50. I would not use the shampoo again, but if I really wanted to I would use the conditioner again because I like the way it left my hair feeling and easily untangled when brushing. 

BeautiControl Facial Spa

                                    Hello Everyone!

Skye here, and this is my very first blogging attempt for the company "BeautiControl". So the sample set I received had the facial cleanser, exfoliating scrub, restorative facial wipe, eye cream and night cream. 

Facial Cleanser: 
Purifying cleansing lotion
This product comes in a quaint little sample size pouch with an easy open top to tear. After opening the sample, I smelled it and it has a strong Rosemary smell. The consistency was thin, but once you put it on, it gets very thick and covers the entire face easily. This product does leave your feeling very clean; squeaky clean even. The smell was alright for this, it was a little overwhelming for my taste, but it wasn't bad.

 Exfoliating Scrub:
Exfoliating polish
This product comes in the same size as the facial cleaner and also has a very strong rosemary smell. It is thick and does scrub the skin very well. I think a little too well, or my face is just sensitive to it because it left my face hot and red. This product did a nice job of cleaning out my pores and left my face feeling clean and in need of hydration.

Restorative Facial Wipe:Regenerating tonic with PHAs
This was a small towelette that I wiped my face with after the scrub. I was scared it would burn because my face felt so sensitive, but it didn't. It left a soft feeling to my face, but I still needed moisture. It had no smell and was pleasant.

Eye Cream:
Restructuring eye cream
This cream was thin but silky. It spread nicely on my skin and didn't have much of a smell. It left the skin silky and moist. I really liked this part of the treatment process.

Night Cream:
Defend & Restore Ultra-rich Night Cream
This was heavenly. My skin kept feeling like I needed a good amount of moisturizer and this product my skin just soaked up. It has not smell really, goes on smoothly and the sample was very thick and rich. It took a little while for the greasy shine to leave my face while I was soaking it all up, but now my skin is so soft.

Conclusion: 
I really enjoyed this product line. Even with my skin being a little sensitive to the scrub, it has left my skin feeling fresh just as if i had a facial or microderm abrasion. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.
